 Art SA is looking forward to sharing

the experience of "experiencing"

the creative concoctions of the

Rock Paper Scissors Artist Collective with you!

So what is an "Artist Collective"? . . .  you ask yourself.

Great question! This group of four accomplished artists has branded themselves as Rock, Paper, Scissors.  In the studio, they each create artwork in their own style and in different media. Then, as a group, they promote and exhibit their artwork at different venues all over SA. This allows them to carpool and it is really much more fun this way!

"Oh I get it" you voicelessly assure yourself.

Then immediately, you really need to know . . . 

"Why do they call themselves Rock, Paper, Scissors?"

"That's kind of an odd name" . . . your judgemental brain lobe blurts out.

Well, we'd love to acknowledge and assuage your combined "need to know" and "snarky" impulses with an answer that question . . . but we won't.

You have to come to our Opening Exhibition Event & ask any one of the four artists yourself!  You can bombard Jane, Diana, Georgie or Paula with questions and comments - it will be fun!

"Well OK then", you mentally grumble . . . "so when & where is this opening exhibition?" is the next probing thought you have . . .

Why yes . . . yes it is on a Sunday!

One thing to expect from Art SA and those Rock Paper Scissors artists is

. . . the unexpected!

We thought a Sunday opening event would be a nice change of pace. The weather forecast calls for sunny and 73 degrees on that day - so what could be better? We'll have food and refreshments and of course there will be lots of terrific art for you to peruse during the light of day as you decide which pieces to collect and admire!
